Day 1:

Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes in the morning, and you will begin your journey towards Merzouga, passing through the Atlas Mountains and the Middle Atlas region.

Along the way, you'll stop in Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," and visit the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can see the Barbary macaques.

You'll continue driving towards the desert, passing through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils.

In the late afternoon, you'll arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you'll ride camels for about an hour to reach your desert camp.

You'll have time to relax and enjoy the sunset over the dunes, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner and music around the campfire. You'll spend the night in a private tent with basic facilities.

Day 2:

You'll wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes and enjoy breakfast at the camp.

You'll ride camels back to the edge of the dunes, where your driver will be waiting for you.

You'll drive back to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas region, and stop for lunch on the way.

You'll arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
