Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3:

Spend the day exploring the medina and souks of Fes, where you'll find traditional Moroccan crafts, textiles, and spices.

Visit the famous tanneries and the Quaraouiyine Mosque, the oldest university in the world.

Day 4:

Depart from Fes and drive to the Merzouga desert, stopping in Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Morocco", and the cedar forests of Azrou.

Arrive in the desert town of Merzouga and enjoy a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset.

Overnight in a traditional desert camp in the dunes.

Day 5:

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, and enjoy a traditional breakfast in the desert camp.

Drive to the Todra Gorges, a stunning natural canyon carved by the Todra River.

Continue to the Dades Gorges and visit the stunning rock formations and landscapes.

Overnight in a hotel or kasbah in the Dades Gorges.

Day 6:

Depart from the Dades Gorges and drive to the Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert", and visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world.

Continue to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the stunning fortified village.

Overnight in a riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 7:

Depart from Ouarzazate and drive to Marrakech, the "Red City" of Morocco.

Explore the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs.

Visit the bustling Jamaa el Fna square and its surrounding souks, where you'll find a variety of Moroccan street food, musicians, and performers.

Overnight in a riad or hotel in Marrakech.

Day 8:

Spend the morning exploring Marrakech's souks and visiting local museums and galleries.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
